The world is going into regular droughts, the sea are still polluted and over fished, there’s far too much air pollution and issues with waste management. Sadly the list of errors from a time ago is still rippling through our infrastructure. So what are we going to do about it? Well…. let’s innovate and change what we can. Unfortunately plastic is here to stay. At least until a viable, resistant biodegradable material transition can take effect. It is therefore the conclusion at Pits and Bits that the only way to tip the balance right now is to use as much recycled material as possible.

The minimal tax our government has implemented on “up to” 30% PCR plastic does not incentivise recycled plastic use. Virgin based polymer is still far cheaper.
